Disso is Done!

(I was going to make the title a little more professional, but I'm a sucker for alliteration and I couldn't help myself.)

I've completed the manuscript and cover for the second installment in the Equilibrium trilogy, "Dissonance!" At this point, I'm looking at October of this year to launch. I'll spend the summer running through some logistics: editing, formatting, proofing, etc. and hopefully have it ready to go by this fall.

In the meantime, here's the synopsis and completed cover:

Nineteen-year-old Skyla-Grensfei will do anything to recover her brother Alexander, who vanished without a trace in the midst of civil war two years ago. She enlists the help of her two friends Zephyr and Madge before taking the plunge into the human world, armed only with the hope of finding Csenfeisna’s heroes still alive.

They soon befriend a human girl named Halley who longs to find answers for her strange connection to faerie magic. Anxious to help, the trio helps Halley sprout her own pair of wings. Halley’s heightened powers fascinate and inspire her newfound friends, but the strong magic causes an enchanted uproar and exposes faeries for all of Earth to see.

Human beings struggle to come to grips with the existence of mythical fae and Earth erupts into chaos. With Csenfeisna’s safety hanging in the balance, Skyla and her friends must find a way to protect both themselves and their home world, knowing that the aura of fear and hostility on Earth may be too much for the faeries of Csenfeisna to fight.

And that's my update! I'm really excited to keep working with these characters and I hope October rolls around quickly.

See you then!
